Rotherham-born goalie David Seaman bagged a world record this week when he caught a ball dropped from more than 100 metres. The former England stopper, who hails from Kimberworth, will take his place in the next Guinness Book of Records after successfully taking part in the record attempt with Wales rugby star Gavin Henson outside Wembley stadium. The pair took it in turns to attempt to catch balls dropped from cranes at increasing heights, starting at 40 metres and building up to the world record height of 102.5 metres. A delighted David punched the air in celebration after finally catching the record-breaking ball. Shame about the Brazil, we will never forget
