NEW winger Will Atkinson could be in line for a Rotherham United debut against Aldershot at the Don Valley Stadium on Saturday.
Atkinson joined the Millers on loan from Hull City on the day the loan transfer window closed on November 25, doing so along with young defender Paul Downing from West Brom.
It may well be that manager Ronnie Moore is considering thrusting Atkinson into the action the first chance he gets. He can play on both flanks but essentially on the left.
Skipper Ryan Cresswell is available again, as is left back Tom Newey after a one-match ban.
The club have put out a call for volunteers to help them clear the snow from the Don Valley Stadium pitch as they make a big bid to get the game on.
They are encouraged by the forecast of much higher temperatures and want to make every effort to play.
